Children's brains develop rapidly in the early years of life. Positive play experiences will help children develop early literacy and numeracy skills. At Playgroup, children and their carers will have the opportunity to talk, sing, play, laugh, look and learn.
Please bring a healthy snack for your child at fruit time and a hat during Terms 1 and 4.
Held in the Early Learning Centre, Playgroup is open to children of all ages and operates during school terms. Parents/Guardians must remain with their child in the Playgroup space at all times.

The Mount Carmel College Occasional Care Service is a fully accredited service that offers children a session of child care. Educational programs are developed by qualified staff and provide a safe, caring and nurturing setting. The experiences we offer, foster children's social, creative, language, cognitive and physical skills. Being located in a school means that children can access school facilities, including nature play areas, children's playground, library and educational resources. Above all, children are treated with respect and are encouraged to explore their interests.
Held in the Early Learning Centre, Occasional Care operates during school terms only and caters to children aged 3-5 years old.

There are no fees charged for your child to be involved; however, student bookings are required to attend Occasional Care sessions.
